Creative Vibe is all about growing and nurturing local design talent and taking concepts into successful commercial production.

The very first Creative Vibe Design Competiton was launched in 2006, with the challenge being to uncover a range of 'Creative Lounges'. We received a great many submissions, of which two great new designs were selected. The creators were then invited to work with our design and production staff to see their designs brought to life.

On the evening of October 18th 2007, these two young Finalists, Simon Duff (Daytripper) and Lyndon Craig (Freestyle) had their creations revealed at the Inaugural Creative Vibe Awards presentation in Vibe's new North Sydney showroom, and the winner Lyndon Craig for his design Freestlye was announced; with the prize comprising a cash award plus the inclusion of the winning range in the Vibe 2007-2008 Furniture Portfolio, along with pieces from world-class design houses such as Boss Design of the UK.

The 2007-2008 Creative Vibe Competition was also announced on the night, with the focus this year on Storage Solutions. So, get your creative thinking caps on and send us your ideas. You can download a copy of the Design Brief by clicking here.

Any Australian or New Zealand designer is welcome to submit entries (terms & conditions are outlined in the Design Brief) and Finalists will be given the opportunity to prototype their designs and have them included in next year's (2008-2009) Vibe Furniture Portfolio.
