How to enter

In 2006/7, the 'Creative Vibe' Competition theme was 'Creative Lounges'. This years theme is 'Store It', which aims to explore innovative ideas for office storage solutions. So how does an aspiring designer get involved?

1 - When are submissions being accepted?
Between November 1, 2007 and April 30, 2008. April 30, 2008 is the closing date for complete submissions.

2 - How is the competiton run?
A short list of semi-finalists will be compiled in March 2008. A mentoring workshop with those semi-finalists will be conducted in May- June 2008, with Finalists selected in June 2008. Mentoring and Prototyping workshops with our factory staff will take place in June-September 2008.

A panel of judges will then review the Finalist, who will be announce at an awards night next October (date to be announced), when the winner is also announced.

3 - Who are the judges?
Our second Creative Vibe Competition will be judged by an architect/designer from a well-known Sydney firm, a local commercial furniture designer, the Vibe manufacturing/production manager and the Vibe Marketing Team.

4 - What are we looking for?

Innovative use of materials and processes

Originality of design and overall aesthetics

Suitability for the designated target market

Use of 'Green Manufacturing' techniques and materials

Adherence to the design brief
